St. Augustine Historical Hitchhiker Tour
Wednesday, August 8th
3:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Conference ends at 2:30pm)
Price $65

Your tour of the city will begin where the history of Florida began, at the Fountain of Youth and include such sites as the Mission of Nombre de Dios, birthplace of Christianity on this continent. When you arrive at the Castillo de San Marcos, you will be invited to step off for a few moments to walk around the outside this fort which is the oldest of our national monuments.

Next, your group will see the heart of the city with its magnificent Spanish Renaissance architecture. Mr. Flagler in the late 1880s began to turn this sleepy little town into a resort by creating fabulous hotels and churches. After hearing his complete life story, you can pay your respects to Mr. Flagler when you visit his mausoleum behind the college named for him.

Now that you know the more than 400 years of history in the area, let's celebrate with dinner and shopping! St. George Street, a shopping "mecca" well-known as a pedestrian walking street with over 240 gift shops, ice cream parlors, and restaurants, is just four short blocks long. Shop, stop by the Pirate & Treasure Museum, the Oldest School House or just relax until it's time to board the coach once more for your return trip. © *Dinner is on your own

St. Augustine Historical Hitchhiker Tour includes...
  • Private Transportation
  • Costumed Tour Guide
